FELTUS FELTUS
an Introduction

 

Tobias and Joseph Feltus have collaborated in photography since 1997. Being the sons of figurative painters Alan Feltus and Lani Irwin, art seemed more than natural to them. In 2006 they had their first solo exhibitions together in two northern Italian art galleries, presenting their recent work which would challenge the current digital trend with images shot on film, with no digital manipulation, and alluding to strong influences from the Italian Renaissance and certain twentieth century figurative painters. Joseph's acclaimed short film 'Solo Duets' was also exhibited, which marked the start of the brothers' collaborations also in film.
